- > BUTTON  
  • Transfers all 50 Parameters of the receiver to the database in the databse add-on or any external software
ANT  
  • Selects antennas
ATT/AMP  
  • Selects attenuator/amplifier
CENTER FREQUENCY  
  • Displays center frequency, tunes by mouse wheel if mouse pointer is over a digit. Frequency is affected by STEP FREQUENCY
CHAT  
  • Chat with other members of the group
CLIENT  
  • In client/server editions defines VisualRadio as client software
COMBOS  
  • To select values of properties
CONT  
  • Scans the spectrum continously
D/T  
  • Date/Timestamp of waterfall
DIGITAL  
  • Toggles between analog and digital modes
DWELL TIME  
  • Sets dwell time in scan mode
FREE  
  • Toggles free run mode
GRID  
  • Toggles visibility of a grid above the spectrum
HIST.  
  • If checked displays FREQUENCY -> DISTRIBUTION otherwise FREQUENCY -> LEVEL of trigger points with a maximum of 1000 points per class
LOOP  
  • If checked loops track if 'PLAY' is checked
MARKER BUTTON  
  • Toggles acquisition of points between markers M1, M2 and visibility of the markers
MARKERS  
  • Check 'MARKER' and over the spetrum window click the left mouse button to set M1, click the right button to set M2. To fine tune hold 'Shift' and scroll with the mouse wheel. The values of both markers are displayed below them, and their DELTA at the top right
  • Issue remote AscII command

MAX  
  • Accumulates values of the spectra over time
MIN LEVEL / MAX LEVEL  
  • Defines spectrum limits. Scalings of spectrum, grid, and trigger line are retained
    To fine tune the level, over the spectrum window hold down the 'Strg' key and scroll with the mouse wheel
MODE BUTTONS  
  • Selects demodulation mode. In digital modes additional windows may pop uo to allow for the entry of additional parameters

PLAY  
  • Plays selectable spectra if 'TRACES' is checked otherwise plays audio
PORTS  
  • Defines various ports and password. If password is empty then your computer is not protected, if not empty and server is true then each client must provide the password in 15 seconds from connect
RECORD  
  • Records spectra if TRACES is checked otherwise records audio
RX OFF in 'MORE...'  
  • Turns receiver off at program end
SCAN  
  • Scans the spectrum with adjustable dwell time if PLAY is not checked
SERVER  
  • In client/server editions defines VisualRadio as server software
SIGNAL BUTTONS / DISPLAY  
  • Displays signal in the selected dimension
SHUT DOWN in 'MORE...'  
  • Shuts down the server computer if last client has disconnected
SLIDERS  
  • To select values of properties
SOLID  
  • Toggles visibility of spectrum between solid and transparent
SPEED  
  • Based on the assumption that no two spectra are the same in real life, an acoustic signal warns in this case. Then increase the value of 'DELAY'
SQUELCH LEVEL  
  • Defines level squelch
STATION  
  • Displays the stations name if the database add-on is used and column 'STATION' is not empty
STEP FREQUENCY  
  • Tunes in displayed steps. Can be changed by scrolling the mouse wheel over the corresponding digit
STORE  
  • Stores traces
TRACES  
  • If checked records spectra otherwise records audio
TRIGGER BUTTON  
  • Toggles acqusition of trigger points and visibility of the trigger line
TRIGGER LEVEL  
  • With the right mouse button click on the spectrum and then select 'Select Triggerlevel'.  The value i s displayed below the trigger line.. To fine tune hold 'Strg'' and scroll with the mouse wheel.

TS  
  • Takes a single sweep if T/S is unchecked
TUNE  
  • Enter frequency in MHz at the keyboard and hit 'Enter'
  • Scroll with the mouse wheel over the frequency window

  • Issue remote ASCII command
  • Issue VRBasic command
VOLUME  
  • Sets volume
WHEEL in 'MORE...'  
  • Toggles mouse wheel direction
